31st December 2015
Diani Beach, Kenya
6:AM's most sought-after event is heading back to the place where it belongs: Diani Beach, Kenya! After a short break from the beach, this year sees BEACHLIFE NYE 2016 taking centre stage on Diani's warm, white, sandy beaches. As the jewel in the crown of Kenya's coastline, Diani is notorious for it's glamorous New Year's Eve Parties and this year will be no exception. Where better to wind down the year with good friends, great music and wholesome vibes? The answer is Purely Diani...
At the core of Indie Dance and Deep House music, Swiss based Nora En Pure is on a quest to fulfil her need to arouse feelings of bliss and inject unconventional, serene sensations to be carried out into the world. The vivid South African with a passion for Africa has produced for the label Enormous Tunes and Tokenish since 2009, with tracks such as YOU MAKE ME FLOAT, COME WITH ME and AURELIA making a splash on the Beatport charts. 2015 is winding down as a great year and Nora En Pure is ready to shake up any party she walks into.
With the return to Diani, this year 6:AM is spicing things up with a brand new venue. Hotel Sonrisa's beautiful beachfront will play host to this epic event with twice the amount of action across the 2 stages. The Urban and Electronic stage are here for you to dance away 2015! This year's event will feature Swiss-based DJ and Producer Nora En Pure. The blonde-haired bombshell will be headlining this year's event and is super-excited to be performing in Kenya for New Year! With roots in South Africa, a home in Switzerland and the destination of Diani, she is able to draw inspiration from all these places and arouse a worldly wanderlust feeling in her music. As is the norm, a motley crew of Kenya's finest DJs will be in tow to support this year's headliner. Expect some quality acts from our local legends.
Advance ticket sales are ongoing and there will also be gate tickets available. Advance tickets can be purchased by Mpesa or online by clicking the link below.

In support of our environment, on the 2nd of January we shall be hosting a beach clean up to ensure we leave the beautiful Diani beach as pristine as we found it. Join us from 10:AM at Hotel Sonrisa, Galu Beach.
Diani can be accessed by a variety of ways. The easiest and quickest way is to fly into Ukunda airport which is roughly a five minute drive on a murram road to the main Diani Beach Road. Ukunda is a relatively small airport with only one air strip. Air Kenya, Safarilink, SAX, and Jambojet all have daily flights from Nairobi to Diani.
Alternatively you could fly to Mombasa from Nairobi on Kenya Airways, Jambojet or Fly540. The flight leaves from Jomo Kenyatta International airport to Moi International Airport. There are official taxis at the airport that charge about Kshs 3000.00 (USD 35.00) to Diani. The drive from Mombasa to the South Coast includes taking the Likoni ferry which at times can prove to be a cumbersome wait epsecially during rush hour. The actual ferry ride is only five - seven minutes to get from Mombasa Island to the South Coast. The queues to get on the ferry however can result in more than an hour's wait. The drive from getting off the ferry to Diani is roughly about forty minutes on a relatively good tarmac road.
The Nairobi - Mombasa train operates three times a week from Nairobi Railway Station. It leaves at 7.00 p.m in the evening and usually takes about fiifteen hours. Taxis to Diani can be found in the parking lot of the station. It is always best to negotiate and agree on the price with the taxi driver before getting into the car.
The Nairobi to Mombasa Road has recently been upgraded which has made the option of self drive not that daunting. It is roughly a five - six hour drive with a fuel stop at Mtito Andei which is roughly the half way point.
There are also buses that operate everyday from Nairobi to Mombasa. Upon arrival at the bus terminal in Mombasa arrange for a taxi driver to transport you to Diani.Get Directions

When asked about his thoughts on Diani and Kenya as a whole, Tom professed that Diani was well and truly the "Amuse-bouche" (French: bite-sized hors d’œuvre) of Africa. His pumping performance and Swahili shout-outs on the mic made him one of our favourites to ever play on Diani Beach.Tom Middleton [UK]2012 Headliner
French Tech-House Producer & DJ was rather surprised at the rhythm and style of the Diani NYE faithful. all we can say is he totally smashed it alongside Crazy White Boy and Roger Shah in 2013!Sebastien Leger [FR]2013 Headliner
